I updated my Raspbian Wheezy minimal image, raspbian_wheezy_20130923.img.7z is available here:
http://www.linuxsystems.it/raspbian-wheezy-armhf-raspberry-pi-minimal-image/
– New kernel.
– New firmware.
– Fixed an issue when booting without network.
– Fixed an issue with vc libs.
– Added mouse input in console.
For the RPi with 512 RAM do we still need to upgrade the firmware?
No, you don’t.
Thank you for your efforts
Thanks for this minimal yet functional image, you saved me a lot of effort! Its great to find someone dedicated to providing a good product and support.
You’re welcome
Though it looks like you already have lots of people thanking you, wanted to add my own thank-you too :). Appreciate you making the time to do this and keep it updated!
Thanks
